Ceramics Pottery Wheel Experience
On an electric potter’s wheel, pinch and shape the rotating clay with your fingers, stretch the thinly formed clay and create your vessel of choice.
As there is an instructor on hand to gently assist and help you, even if you have no experience there is no need to worry, you will be able to produce a piece.

About 40 minutes per person (you'll need an additional 30 minutes at the scheduled time apart from the experience)
- How to receive the works
The artwork will be delivered in about two months.
Please pay the shipping fee separately from the experience fee on the day of pickup.

- If you live overseas, you can use international courier services.
* Shipping costs vary depending on the destination country. Some countries may not be eligible for shipping due to international conditions.* If you don’t have a shipping address, you won’t be able to send the piece you made during the experience. It will be an experience where you just make it.
In that case, we’ll give you one fired piece as a gift. (You can still do the making-only experience at the basic fee)
- Age restriction
Participants must be 6 years old or older to join the experience.
Children under the age of 6 are not eligible to participate.Up to one adult can accompany two children in the lower grades of elementary school.Please note that the accompanying adult cannot provide technical assistance or switch places partway.
Seating will be provided for participants only.

(This facility is located within Hakone Gora Park.)

(It takes about 5 minutes to get from the main gate of Gora Park to the Craft House.)
- Precautions
Hakone Craft House is about a 5-minute walk from the main gate of Gora Park, so please make sure to allow yourself enough time to get there.
The basic fee covers firing one small piece (under 10 cm) per person, but you can actually make several pieces within the session, and it’s possible to have them fired and finished as well.
(Extra charges will apply depending on the size of any additional items.)
- Notes
Even after the reservation deadline has passed, you may still be able to join the experience on the same day if there are available spots.
